Company History

Rigging company in South Jersey

In 1958, fresh off of serving his country in the United States Coast Guard, Charles Young (“Charlie”) started our family owned business with little more than a pick-up truck, a homemade trailer, and a couple of tools. Charlie’s very first contracts, fitting for a former Coast Guardsman, were transporting Fleetcraft boats and installing Riva Speed boats in a dealership’s showroom in Manhattan N.Y.C .

Today, Young’s Rigging boasts an experienced staff of rigging and crane professionals, equipped with the latest tools and equipment to accomplish any size job. Since our humble beginnings, we have gone on to provide our expert rigging services to the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, D.C., the Museum of Modern Art in N.Y.C., the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Long Island, the Federal Aviation Administration, and countless utility companies in the Northeast. Despite our growth over the years, our company has never lost sight of Charlie’s vision for the company.

We continue to run our business with dedication to completing every job safely, efficiently, and with the same integrity instilled by Charlie from the beginning.

You can find us providing rigging services and crane rental services in Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem Counties across Southern New Jersey.
